Let’s be real, salads can be the most boring food if we just don’t put the necessary effort into it. Having the same salad over and over again, or just using the same dressing can make  us start to dislike or even reject this amazing food. Today a pretty simple idea for a salad, oh and if you don’t feel like eating tofu because you don’t like it, or you are just not into it, feel free to use chicken, or any other replacement. Tofu Salad2

Sweet and Sour Salad (serves 1)

3 asparagus
1 tomato
1 1/2 oz of caramelized tofu
Handful of favorite greens (I used lettuce and spinach)
1 tbsp of almonds

Dressing

2 tbs olive oil
2 tbs agave syrup (or maple syrup)
4 tbs of mango spicy sauce (don’t limit to this flavor, if you find a another fruit sauce you like go ahead, try it and let us know)
2 tbsp orange juice
Pinch of Salt
Pinch of Pepper

Directions

1. Prepare the tofu according to the caramelized recipe 

2. On a pan fry de asparagus until darken

3. Wash the greens accordingly and cut the tomato.

4. Mix everything on a plate an add the dressing.
