This is a perfect option for an afternoon snack with friends. You can have it with whatever drink you like. By this time I should let you know that I’m not a big fan of tea, somehow I haven’t happend to find any tea delight my taste buds, so for sure I don’t drink anything that I don’t find enjoyable. This time I had cranberry juice make my afternoon snack, just perfect!
100% Rye Bread – 1 slice (seriously you can use any bread you like, I found this one at the supermarket and just love it because it has no taste so anything you prepare will give it the taste you like)
Tofu – 1 slice
Tomato – 2 Slices
Olive oil – 1 tbsp
Basil – to taste
Oregano – To taste
Salt and Pepper – To taste
1. On a pan saute the tofu with spices, salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Slice tomato
3. Once the tofu is evenly cooked on both sides put on top of the rye bread.
4. Add tomato slices on top, basil, oregano and olive oil.
5. Serve with whatever drink YOU enjoy!
