This was my post 21k run smoothie! Full of antioxidants this smoothie helps recover muscle tissue. During long, strenuous exercise the body uses ATP (the molecule that gives us energy) and as a residue we are left with a compound called CPK, plus if the workout involves anaerobic phases we might be left with lactic acid in our muscles which is part of what makes us feel sore.

This smoothie providing tons of nutrients that helps us as a post workout recovery drink!
It contains Vitamin C that helps with lactic acid, Vitamin E that helps recover the residues of using ATP (our energy molecule used while exercising), plus it contains folate which is involved in the creation of new cells.


Try it yourself!
1 cup of strawberries, 1/3 cup of raspberries, 1/4 cup of blueberries plus 3 dates and 1/3 of soy milk.
