Cereals are one of the most frequent breakfasts. Especially when we are in a hurry.
Today we find hundreds of cereals in supermarkets and choosing the right one can be a tedious task. That’s why today we’re going to return to basics. The traditional oatmeal! A breakfast that will provide nutritious value, which can be prepared in advance and the best part, you can have it ready to go. No more excuses to leave the home without breakfast!
Oatmeal Hurry (serves 1)
1/2 cup oatmeal
3/4 cup almond or soy milk
1 teaspoon agave or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1. This recipe is for you to prepare in advance, it will take about 2 minutes to prepare and then you will leave it in the fridge. Add all ingredients except fruits and nuts in a cup or bowl. Mix well and leave overnight in the fridge. In the morning, add fruit as topping. You will see that you don’t need to cook the oats to get the ideal texture. If you are someone who is not a fan of oatmeal texture then, you can add more soy milk in the morning until you have the preferred texture. If you have to leave home make sure you place it in a container to carry it with you. You can save it for about 2-3 days in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
