Life is about pleasures, about enjoying what you do on a daily basis and transforming that joy into the world that surrounds us. You’ve heard that famous cliche about “you are what you eat” right? Well, personally I do believe in that cliche, literally. From a more basic/logical point of view, just picture what you eat frequently and transform it into how your body feels and looks like. Are you meals predominant with a brown/yellowish color? If so you might be having a high fat/carb diet, low in vitamins and minerals. This transforms into veins and arteries clotted with fat, and this is how you become heavy and start feeling slow, tired, etc. On the other hand, are you meal full of vibrant colors? if so you are giving your self the wonderful power of vitamins and minerals. Every cell in your body is being perfectly nourished and so you feel that way, energized and full of vitality.
That’s what today’s breakfast represents. Energy, vitality, happiness and joy. Give it a try, promise you’ll feel that way!
Festival Smoothie Bowl (Serves 1 big or as many as you need)
- 1 cup of Strawberries
- 1/2 Cup of blackberries
- 1 1/2 fresh bananas
- 2 Tbsp of peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 1/2 cup of water + ice (as many as you like, watch out on keeping consistency smooth)
- Chia Seeds
- Sliced almonds
- Shredded Coconut
1. Mix all ingredients from the smoothie bowl into your blender and blend.
2. Add it to a bowl and place all the desire toppings on top.
