For me Banana is the most amazing fruit on earth. It has a unique versatility, and its flavor is just incomparable. That’s why almost all my smoothies have bananas, it gives that special sweetness without having to use sugar. Today’s smoothie: berries and bananas, three exquisite layers you can have with your breakfast or as a mid-morning snack, it even works as a post workout smoothie.
B & B Smoothie (Serves 1 large)
1/4 cup mixed berries (anywhere from blueberries, strawberries, blackberries , raspberries etc )
1/2 Frozen Banana
1/4 cup soy or almond milk (or even coconut milk)
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup soy milk or almond
1tsp of maca powder
1/4 cup strawberries (or strawberries and raspberries)
For topping add sliced banana, shredded coconut and Chia seeds to taste
1. Add all ingredients of first layer into blender and blend.
2. Add mix into a bowl, jar or glass.
3. Wash the blender and prepare the second layer. Add ontop
4. Repeat for third layer. Important: make sure at least 1 fruit is frozen in each layer otherwise ir will mix up.
