A healthy breakfast is the determining point towards a good or bad day in terms of food. If you let time pass, skip breakfast, or usually grab something to eat outside home , or if you’re always in a hurry, you then have a risk factor for eventually become overweight or obese. That’s why it is vital to start the day with a balanced breakfast that provides you vitamins, minerals and energy. This is crucial since it will make the difference on what you eat throughout the rest of the day.
So today’s invite is to try another bowl of smoothie. Remember, the magic of smoothies lies on try new things and mixing whatever comes to mind. Today again we wanted to try out a smoothie bowl and we came up with this one, filled with nutritional value breakfast including healthy fats, healthy carbohydrates, lots of fruits, and even some calcium. Ready to start the day fully charged ?
Antioxidant Rich Smoothie (Serves 1)
- 1/3 cup grapes
- 1/3 cup soy milk
- 1/2 cup strawberries
- 1 kiwi
- 1/4 cup of blackberries
- 4 dates pitted
- Topping Optional and modifiable: chia seeds, pineapple, banana, pecans and granola
1. Combine all ingredients in blender except topping and blend. Then in a bowl add the mixture and add toppings.
