So today’s green smoothie (even though it doesn’t end up looking green) is a powerful dose of antioxidants. It’s rich in vitamin C which helps in protein formation for skin, tendons and ligaments, plus it helps the inmmune system. It provides a high amount of manganese, a mineral that aids in bone creation, blood coagulation and glucose regulation. Plus a good dose of Vitamin K, which is involved in blood coagulation as well, and bone health. So who want’s to boost their body?

Antioxidant Power Smoothie – (Serves 1 big)


  • 2 Cups of Spinach
  • 3/4 cup of water
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of blueberries
  • 2 Bananas


1. Add the water and spinach into the blender and blend.

2. Once blended add the remaining ingredients and blend again. Add Ice for a better taste, or frozen bananas.
